Every year we go to Palm Springs with Bridget's dad after Christmas. We always go to the same amazing restaurant, Melvyn's at the Ingleside Inn. This year, after a delicious dinner, Chris had a bottle of champagne brought to the table. He proposed a toast in which he proposed! Bridget's dad, sisters Gretchen and Caity, brother-in-law Billy, and niece Elsie were all there to watch. Bridget tried to say yes, but nothing would come out, so she just nodded a lot and cried.
